Content Marketing Manager

This is an amazing opportunity to join one of the leading players in the satellite industry at a very interesting point in time. At Cobham SATCOM we are on an exciting growth journey fueled by the rapid development in new satellite investments. To meet the huge market potential, we are looking to expand our marketing operation with a content marketing manager, based out of Concord, California.

In this new role, you will be our marketing lead in the US and a part of the vertical leadership team, working alongside our talented colleagues in product management and sales.

Your main responsibilities will be to drive content production and will be an integral part of the Global Marketing Team based out of Lyngby, Denmark, working closely with the team on key projects.

Job requirements

•          Work with the global Marketing team, Product Management and Sales to deliver on strategic and tactical plans

•          Develop and translate briefing document into various content formats that can be used throughout the marketing and sales cycle

•          Write and produce content

•          Consult with multiple stakeholders to develop and execute marketing content such as advertisements, fact and data sheets, emails, website landing pages, and paid social media content

•          Manage content production from start to finish according to plan and budget

•          Plan, develop and execute customer case stories

•          Build and maintain a marketing content database. Oversee and fill potential gaps with content

•          Facilitate the translation of product features into customer benefits

•          Translate product value propositions into customer centric values and execute upon them

•          You are familiar with the concept of buyer personas, and it is a plus if you are familiar with long sales cycles with multiple decision makers

•          You are collaborative by nature and enjoy working cross-functionally to deliver high-impact content

Requirements

•          Minimum BA degree and 10+ years’ experience with content creation and execution

•          Being part of a Global team with colleagues and agencies based in the Central European Time zone primarily, you are able to be highly flexible in terms of working hours to accommodate for the time difference

•          Proven track record of translating technical solutions into commercial stories and business cases

•          Demonstrated experience in building relationships in a complex organization with multiple global internal stakeholders across Product Management and Sales

•          Native English speaker and a skilled proof-reader of content

•          Demonstrate a thorough understanding of digital marketing (SEM, SEO, SoMe) and how to write for digital media
